FBC utilizes the most sophisticated equipment and techniques to evaluate balance disorders. Once a patient has been referred to our center, their individual needs are carefully assessed by a licensed therapist who takes into consideration the persons' medical status, lifestyle, and activity requirements for work and daily living. Evaluation of the patient with a balance disorder is a specific and thorough process with special attention focused on each patient's particular condition and goals.

  • Medical history and patient interview
  • Scored inventory of patient's symptoms
  • Neuromuscular assessment and screening
  • Computerized balance analysis
  • Functional mobility assessment
  • Positional vertigo testing
  • Functional vestibular assessment

Functional outcome studies are performed then progress updates are sent, on a regular basis, which report and track patient progress.

The goal of our therapy program is to eliminate or significantly decrease the symptoms and cause of your dizziness/vertigo and improve your balance, in order to return you to your regular activities as quickly as possible.

TREATMENT plans are created using the results of the evaluation, as well as the information from referring physicians. A customized plan of treatment is developed.

THE REFERRAL PROCESS is a simple, yet important first step. Prior to attending treatment, it is important that we have a physician's prescription for therapy along with any pertinent medical testing and reports. Appointments are scheduled in advance.

CASE MANAGERS also benefit as our program can assist in evaluating work related injuries and facilitate return to previous activity levels.

INSURANCE assignment is accepted and most insurance carriers cover this program.
